Sending the Gift Certificates
Email
If you choose email, the gift certificate will automatically appear at the email address destination of your choice within 24 hours.
US Post
If you choose to go with the snail mail route, the gift certificate will be sent via first class post to the address provided
Confirmation
Whether you send via email or first class post, you’ll receive a confirmation email from RoomsByYou.
Redeeming the Certificates
Each certificate has a unique code on it which can be stored under the recipient’s account details on the RoomsByYou website (see My Account). Adding the code to the account details will activate the gift certificates and automatically enter the amount to be redeemed in the recipient’s shopping basket. Plus, it’s a great way to ensure they don’t get lost.
Redemption Period
RoomsByYou gift certificates are valid for one year following purchase. If the full amount is not used on a purchase, the remaining dollar amount can be used towards future purchases or can be saved until date of expiry. If a purchase exceeds the value of the gift certificate, the difference can be covered through regular payment methods.
