Customization is a community event! At RoomsByYou, you can create a customized gift registry for your baby's nursery on your own or with friends & family. We'll show you how!

You can have more than one customized room per registry! If you'd like to update the look of your nursery from week-to-week with fresh new crib bedding either in different surface patterns from the same collection or from a completely new designer and collection, simply create another fresh new customized room and save it to your Baby Gift Registry.

You can also have more than one registry! As long as you save each new registry under a new name, you can create seperate registries for baby showers, baby's first birthday, baby's first religious event and/or baby's first holiday.

We also offer to send an email announcement to announce that you have chosen BabyRoomsByYou as your registry and send out updates on the progress of your registry.Family and Guests can view your registry, make recommendations to your customized room and purchase gifts once you’ve released your Guest Password.

Here, online, you can track your registry from home and friends and family can shop for you now matter where they live. As you manage your registry, our online registry tool tracks the name of each gift giver along with the items purchased. When it comes time to mail your thank you notes, simply check off the appropriate name and corresponding gift.

You’ll have the opportunity to designate two different gift receipt dates, and, if necessary two different shipping addresses: one before the event (baby shower) and one after the event (welcoming party for your new arrival).

We respect your privacy and put you in control of how much online access others have to your registry. You will always be asked to input Password Only Access in order to keep your customized room private. You will provide those friends and family members you wish to view the room with a Guest Password.

10% off Completion Program. After your event date, we’ll email you a Completion Certificate whereby you’ll be able to save 10% off items remaining on your registry.

Create a Registry

Guest Access Information & Password

Your Guests can only view your registry by using the password that you assign to the customized babyroom that you create. Once you’ve customized a room, you may invite friends and family to customize the room with you with a special “guest access” password that you have specifically assigned to your customized BabyRoom.

With your assigned “guest access” password, you can ask friends and family to comment on your customized room and even offer up suggestions by recommending changes to the room. They, in turn, will assign a password to the room with their changes and forward to assigned friends and family. For example, you may assign the password “ABCD”. Your friend may make changes to the room and assign an updated password “ABCD1” or another friend “ABCD2”.When you finally have completed your preferred registry, you’ll simply click on update registry with a final prompt to click on final registry complete.

You can include more than one "ship-to" address...one before the event (baby shower) and one after the event (welcoming party for your new arrival) or to your home or to another home of your choice. You choose!

For your privacy, we will never display your actual mailing address to the gift-giver. But if you prefer not to receive any gifts directly, you can choose to have all gifts shipped to the gift-giver's address. If you'd like to have your friends or family to recieve and store your gifts until the baby arrives, just choose that address as your shipping preference.

You can update your registry online at any time. Simply sign in to your account, remove or add customized items based on your needs and your registry will be automatically updated.

Registry & Customization Guide

Creating the most wonderful room in the house is easy at BabyRoomsByYou. We suggest setting up your registry at least 4 months before your due date. This will give you plenty of time to assess your needs, customize your babyroom, share with friends and make the necessary changes.

Once you’ve created your Registry, it’s time to create your customized BabyRoom.

You’ll be prompted whether you would like to create a classic babyroom or a contemporary babyroom.

You’ll be prompted as to whether you would like to preview design collections from classic designers or contemporary designers.

You’ll have the opportunity to review many beautiful collections from our portfolio of talented designers.

Once you’ve chosen your favorite designer and collection, you’ll be led through a 3D nursery where our proprietary customization wizard will guide you from product-to-product.

As you move from product-to-product, you’ll be making your choices on which surface pattern design and/or texture you would like to put on each of our textile related products.

When you click on a specific surface pattern design, it will automatically populate the product that you are currently customizing.

If you like your decision, you’ll be instructed to move onto the next product in the 3D room.

As you move from product to product within the 3D room, you’ll have a very clear view of your progress and how the different textile related products relate and coordinate with one another.

You can make changes at any time during the process.

Save Room to RoomsByYou and Facebook

Once you have completed customizing your room with the RoomsByYou wizard, you will save your room with the Guest Access Password that you confirmed during your registration process.

After you have saved you customized nursery, you can go back and create many other nursery option (as many as you want). Simply go through the process again of choosing your room options, your designer and your collection and then customize your nursery. Each new customized nursery will have it's own password that you assign.

You and RoomsByYou will then contact your friends and family via email to provide them the access guest password to access and view your customized babyroom.

At this time, you may also upload your customized babyroom to Facebook for your community of friends to view and provide feedback. If they poke you asking to provide feedback, you can make the decision at that point if you’d like to provide them access to your customized babyroom with your guest access password. You’ll only provide your “guest access” password, not your username or your personal password.

Those friends & family that you choose to share your guest password with may make changes/recommendations to your room, assign an updated guest password to save their changes, but not impact your original babyroom. They, in turn, can share this updated guest password with you for you to review the changes/recommendation that they have made.

Once you have settled on the final customized babyroom of your choice, simply click on Final Registry Gifts Complete.

From this point, those friends and family participating in the event can enter your customized babyroom with your guest password and proceed with purchasing gifts for your upcoming event.

Manufacturing Lead Times

RoomsByYou takes up to 14-18 business days to manufacture and deliver your customized products. Make sure you allow this time for production and delivery prior to your events.

Event Dates

You’ll have the opportunity to designate two different gift receipt dates, and, if necessary two different shipping addresses: one before the event (baby shower) and one after the event (welcoming party for your new arrival).

Email Announcements

As part of managing your registration, you’ll be asked to provide the email address of those friends and family attending your event.

BabyRoomsByYou, in turn, will contact your friends and family announcing that you have chosen BabyRoomsByYou for your Gift Registry and to visit your customized babyroom.

They also will be given the Guest Access Password that you’ve assigned to your customized babyroom.

10% off on Crib Bedding when you order of 2 or more of the Same Item. It's always nice to have a change of crib bedding - one set for the crib and another in the laundry.  When you order 2 or more of any crib bedding option, you'll receive 10% off the 2nd item (and 3rd & 4th if you choose to order more). Crib Bedding includes fitted sheets, crib bumpers, crib skirts, changing station pads, baby blankets and baby quilts.

They're simple, convenient and perfect for the gift-giver who prefers to give the expectant Mom more options. In addition to registering all of the products that you've customized in your nursery, you can also request gift cards as part of your registry. Frequently Asked Gift Registry Questions

When should I register?

We recommend registering 4-5 months before the big event. This allows plenty of time for you to create your customize rooms, for friends and family to purchase and for us to manufacture your on-demand order.

When will my registry be available to friends and family?

Instant online activation means your registry will be accessible by friends and family in a matter of minutes. However, they won’t have access to your customized baby room until you create it, post it on RoomsByYou and Facebook and provide them with your guest access password.

How do I let my friends & family now about my baby registry?

We offer to send an email announcement to announce that you have chosen BabyRoomsByYou as your registry and send out updates on the progress of your registry. Family and Guests can view your registry, make recommendations to your customized room and purchase gifts once you’ve released your Guest Password.

Can I create more than one customized room per registry?

Yes, you can have more than one customized room per registry! What if I didn't get everything that I wanted on my gift registry?

We'll give you a one-time discount of 10% off everything left on your registry. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at support@roomsbyyou.com.

How do I delete or cancel my registry?

If you'd like to delete your registry, go to UPDATE MY REGISTRY. From your registry account page, select "delete registry". You may also email us at support@roomsbyyou.com and type "delete registry" in the SUBJECT line.

How long will my registry remain active?

Your registry will stay active at RoomsByYou for 12 months after the date of the event.
