Like most artists, I was constantly drawing as a kid. Having understanding parents was great since most days they found me with my big fat red sharpie expressing myself on the underside of their gigantic marble coffee table with scrawls of everyday happenings, either real or imaginary.
In college I studied graphic design. After a few stints as a designer and then art director at a media/game company, I returned to my love of drawing and became a freelance illustrator.
As a freelancer I've worked on toys, games, editorials, books, comics and packaging. Some of my clients include Hasbro, Scholastic, Leapfrog and Paper Magic.
During those periods where I'm not on a specific assignment, I like to read, collect comics, collect cute character art and go out & about around the Bay Area.
I also love working on my own comicbooks where I can really let my imagination run wild.
